Telus Ski and Snowboard Festival and Grenade Games
The Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival goes off again this year with tons of ski and snowboard action including the Grenade Games and Orage Masters. Arena Snowparks will be on site as builder for the slope style and Superpipe. The Global Cutter, the latest in halfpipe shaping technology will be making its North American debut at the festival in Blackcomb's 22-foot pipe.
The goal of the Grenade Games is to put the fun back into snowboard competition -the highlight of the games will be the slope style coarse set up just above Whistler Village where last year 10,000 people witnessed some of the worlds best snowboarders throw down in a fun and creative slope style coarse designed and built by Arena Snowparks.
